RMA Policy

Returns: Customers wishing to return a product must apply for a RMA number within the warranty period of the product. Returns of product, other than with defect (Second-Hand Laptop battery not included), are subject to a 15% restocking fee or rate as determined by Underground Computers Inc. Refunds will be issued within 3-5 business days upon receipt of product at Underground Computers Inc.

RMA Product Replacement and Cross Shipping: If it is determined that your product needs to be returned for replacement, refund or credit, then that replacement, refund or credit will occur upon the arrival and inspection at Underground Computers Inc. If you wish, a replacement product can be cross shipped immediately; however the cost of the replacement product will be charged to you then refunded upon your RMA arrival and inspection of Underground Computers Inc.

Service Fee on working product may apply: Any items sent back with no defect, may be subject to a service fee. Including a loaded OS machine that may simply require the correct driver for the device to function.

RMA Details: Be specific when listing the reason for return, and include in written form with the product. This will assist us in making a correct determination as to problem resolution.

Damaged Product: Any product “disassembled” by the customer will VOID all warranties.

Fitness of Purpose: Underground Computers Inc. cannot warrant any product as fit for any particular use or purpose. We strongly recommend customers evaluate a sample unit to determine by their criteria whether a product will work in their configuration. In the world of computers there are many products that may be incompatible with a certain part. In cases like this it is your responsibility to determine the compatibility of the product into a standard application in which the part will work. We are unable to take parts back because they will not work in a particular brand product if they function correctly in others.

RMA Number Must Be Marked on the Outside of Box: To get your RMA number, please call us at 616 249-3007 or email support@undcom.com. RMA number must be clearly marked on the outside of the shipping box. Please include a printed copy of the RMA paperwork on the inside of the box. Customer is responsible for all shipping costs to Underground Ccomputers Inc.

Pack Returns Carefully: Customers must pack defective items being returned as if they were new and working. Failure to do so may invalidate both the RMA and the warranty. Underground Computers Inc. is not responsible for goods that are damaged during shipment or misused/abused by the customer/carrier.

Out of Warranty Items: Items sent to Underground Computers Inc. that are OUT OF WARRANTY will be returned to customer at customer’s expense unless previously agreed to repair at owner’s expense.

Credit Issued on Defective Products:
Should a replacement for a defective item not be available, at our discretion a suitable replacement shall be issued. If a suitable replacement is not available within 7 days from the receipt of your RMA, Underground Computers Inc. will issue a credit. If purchased by credit card a credit will be posted to your credit card. If paid by check or money order, a check will be issued. RMA credits are for product only and do NOT include any reimbursement for shipping charges. This does not apply to Second-Hand laptop batteries. Used laptop batteries are not warranted.

Operating System: We are not responsible for any software loaded on the equipment by the customer and do not guarantee that any software that may be loaded will be compatible with the equipment. Check with the software manufacturer for compatibility before purchasing. No operating system will be included on off-lease computers.

Personal Data: Underground Ccomputers Inc. will not be held responsible for loss of personal data. It will be the customer’s sole responsibility to back up any such files.

LIMITED WARRANTY: Warranties may be limited on some items. Please check our sales literature and your invoice to verify the warranty is as expected. Replacement RMA items will be shipped back to customers via UPS Ground.
